These are non-issued East German Makarov holsters. They were made to fit the 9X18 (9mm) Makarov PM (Pistolet Makarova) carried as a standard sidearm by the Soviets, East Germans and other Eastern Bloc countries. The holster is a dark brown with a sleeve for an extra magazine sewn on the side. It has the standard button flap securing the top of the holster. They are unissued, but do show signs of storage wear. There is a leather strap on the reverse that would accept up to a 2 1/4 inch belt. The particular holster shown in the photograph is stamped with a 1984 date, but I have several of these...so the one you get may have a different date on it. All will be prior to 1990.
