| Select an item you want to purchase by clicking on the ORDER THIS ITEM button. Once you are finished shopping, proceed to the checkout. After clicking the PLACE ORDER button, you will receive an automated email generated from the site to confirm that the order was received. That will be accompanied by an invoice of the order total. Unless a prior arrangement is made, payment for your order must be received within twelve (12) days from receipt of invoice if you are mailing a payment. Payment by PayPal must be made within 24 hours of your order. If not, the sale pending status of the item will be released and it will go back into inventory. Shipping charges are not initially included in your purchase price. I personally figure these charges to get you the best rate possible. A follow up email will then be sent to you with the grand total. Please refrain from making payment until you have received my follow up email with the shipping charges included. All Virginia residents must add 5% sales tax. |
| Terms of Sale |
| Payment must be received within 12 days of your order for payments being mailed. PayPal payments must be made withing 24 hours. If the payment is not received, the hold placed on an item will be released. Look under INFORMATION on my home page for terms on layaways, consignments and trades. Most items are one of a kind in my inventory. Therefore, items will be sold on a first come, first served basis. I try and price items with a fair market value. Obviously, If I purchased it for $50.00, I cannot afford to sell it for $25.00...or I will not be in business long. Thus, the listed price is what I must receive for an item. As a rule, I do not sell reproduction items. If by chance, I do have an item that is a reproduction, it will CLEARLY be marked as such in the item description. Prices of listed items are subject to change. I cannot ship items to countries in which it is forbidden by law. |
| Payment Information |
| Payment can be made using a cashiers check, personal check, money order, or credit card through PayPal. All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars and checks must be drawn on a U.S. Bank made out to RELIC CHEST, LLC. Cash will be accepted, but it is not advisable. If sending cash, use registered mail. I am not responsible for payments lost in transit. All personal checks are subject to clearing the bank before merchandise is shipped. A returned check fee will be charged if the check does not clear the bank. Payments made with a cashiers check, money order, cash, or PayPay will be shipped the next business day after the payment is received. All PayPal payments must be sent to an address that is listed under your PayPal account. Payment made through PayPal will be shipped to that address on the next business day upon me receiving notification from PayPal that your payment is available to me and your address is listed with them. Also, your package will need to be signed for. These guidelines are set by PayPal. If I do not adhere to them, I have no recourse on fraudulent transactions. If you do not have a listed shipping address with PayPal please make your payment through another method. If paying by PayPal you will need my account address of RelicChest@aol.com . |
| Warranty Information |
| All items have a lifetime guarantee to be 100% authentic. If you find that they are not, from a reputable source, I will gladly refund your money. I am a MAX Certified Dealer. This means that I have agreed to operate in a fair and honest manner and stand behind the authenticity of the items that I offer for sale. Items have a five day inspection period, upon receipt. If for some reason you are unhappy with the item purchased from Relic Chest, LLC, email me. The item may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price, minus all shipping charges.Credit card fees also apply to items purchased through the use of PayPal. Items returned must be in the same condition as when I shipped them. They cannot be damaged, tampered with or altered in any way. Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the item back at Relic Chest, LLC. If after five days from receipt you have not contacted me, I will assume that you are happy with your item and the sale will be considered final. Most all items are quite old and some are quite delicate. They are sold for their historical value as display items. Relic Chest, LLC does not guarantee them against or suggest actual use for what they were originally intended. |
| Shipping Information |
| Shipping on most items within the U.S. will be done using the United States Postal Service (USPS). All items under two pounds can be shipped for a flat rate of $4.60 by Priority Mail.The media rate is available for books. If you have a special request, I will try to accomodate it. Orders paid for by PayPal will be shipped to the address indicated on the PayPal invoice sent to me. The package will also require a signature of receipt. Insurance is at the buyers option for an extra fee charged by the carrier. Relic Chest, LLC will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. A claim against the carrier would have to be made by the purchaser. I do not charge a handling fee or inflate my shipping charges! I try to be as close on the shipping estimate as possible. Items can not be shipped to countries in which it is forbidden by law. A customs declaration will be completed for all items sent outside of the U.S. The purchaser will be responsible for any duty or tariffs on the items to be received. |
